What We Do

The Erie Shores Health Foundation raises funds for Erie Shores HealthCare and the Hospice, Erie Shores Campus in Essex County.

Since the Ministry of Health does not fund the total costs for the Hospital and Hospice, the Foundation works to ensure funding needs are met by raising awareness and support from community donations. For Erie Shores HealthCare this means purchasing capital and high priority medical equipment vital for patient care. For Erie Shores Hospice this means covering the cost of operations that are not funded, to ensure programs and services are offered to residents and their families at no cost.

Our Strength Comes From Partnerships

Ensuring our Hospital and Hospice is responsive, innovative and serves the needs of our patients, is the responsibility of our entire community.

The Foundation’s goal is to build partnerships in Essex County with individuals, businesses and industry, service organizations, social clubs and others who will work with us to meet the needs of our fundraising programs. We can only succeed by coming together as a community and this is why we are so grateful to our donors and partners who are making a difference each and every day.

On behalf of our patients and residents, we thank all of our community partners for their dedicated and generous support.
