What We Do

The Erie Shores Health Foundation raises funds for Erie Shores HealthCare and Erie Shores Hospice in Essex County.

Since the Ministry of Health does not fund the total costs for the Hospital and Hospice, the Foundation works to ensure funding needs are met by raising awareness and support from community donations. For Erie Shores HealthCare this means purchasing capital and high priority medical equipment vital for patient care. For Erie Shores Hospice this means covering the cost of operations that are not funded, to ensure programs and services are offered to residents and their families at no cost.

#YouHaveUs

The Erie Shores Health Foundation believes in the power of generosity to save and change lives.

Together, the Foundation advances the mission and vision of both Hospital and Hospice by raising, stewarding and allocating funds in keeping with donors’ wishes. As medical advancements emerge and healthcare costs rise, your generosity becomes increasingly crucial in helping to ensure patients, residents and families have access to the latest advancements in medical technology, state-of-the-art equipment and holistic, compassionate care.

Together, we are stronger.

Our Strength Comes From Partnerships

Ensuring our Hospital and Hospice is responsive, innovative and serves the needs of our patients, is the responsibility of our entire community.

The Foundation’s goal is to build partnerships in Essex County with individuals, businesses and industry, service organizations, social clubs and others who will work with us to meet the needs of our fundraising programs. We can only succeed by coming together as a community and this is why we are so grateful to our donors and partners who are making a difference each and every day.
